Ochsner Health Center – Lake Terrace Now Open

NEW ORLEANS – Ochsner Health Center – Lake Terrace (OHC – Lake Terrace) is now open and serving patients at 1532 Robert E. Lee Blvd. in New Orleans. Details were shared in a press release.

OHC – Lake Terrace was designed to meet the various healthcare needs of residents in Lake Terrace and Gentilly and the surrounding neighborhoods of Lakeview, Lake Vista and the UNO-Lakefront. Services offered include primary care, general pediatrics, women’s services and more. Lab and imaging services – including x-ray and mammography – are also available onsite.

The newly constructed 58,137 square foot facility on the corner of Paris Avenue and Robert E. Lee
features the first drive-thru pharmacy in the Ochsner Health System. Additional amenities include self-check in kiosks, more than 60 offices and exam rooms and convenient parking in a surface lot adjacent to the building.

The new facility is connected to the entire Ochsner Health System network of facilities and physicians through Epic – Ochsner’s integrated electronic health record system, which enables Ochsner physicians to securely share patient information, resulting in a higher level of coordinated care across the system. Patients can also use personalized MyOchsner accounts to access tests results and schedule appointments online through personalized MyOchsner accounts.

OHC – Lake Terrace was designed by Verges Rome and constructed by The McDonnel Group, which began in January 2018 and lasted 14 months. OHC – Lake Terrace provides a vital anchor to one of the area’s most visible intersections and, as a result, has returned commerce and activity to the neighborhood. Prior to construction, the lot had been vacant since Hurricane Katrina.

OHC – Lake Terrace will be open Monday – Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information call 504.486.9646 or visit www.ochsner.org/laketerrace.
