CHALMETTE – St. Bernard Parish Hospital (SBPH) has announced the openings of Ochsner Health Center – St. Bernard and Ochsner Specialty Health Center – St. Bernard.
The clinics, located within the SBPH Medical Office Building at 8050 West Judge Perez Drive, are open Monday through Friday.
Primary care services at the health center include annual check-ups, lab draw, preventative health and smoking cessation. As an added convenience, the team offers same-day and next-day appointments, as well as extended hours—the clinic is open until 6pm, Monday through Friday.
The Ochsner Health Center – St. Bernard (Women’s Services) opening marks the return of select services to St. Bernard Parish for the first time since Hurricane Katrina, including OB/GYN.
Previously, patients had to drive to New Orleans, Metairie or the North Shore for annual exams, pregnancy care and menopause treatment and education. Patients can now enjoy women’s health services close to home, including prenatal appointments.
The Ochsner Specialty Health Center – St. Bernard is expanding access to the following services locally: Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Pain Management, and Gastroenterology/Colon Rectal.
