CHALMETTE, LA – Nunez Community College will hold its annual spring Job Fair on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The Job Fair will be held in the College’s Administration Building located at 3710 Paris Rd., in Chalmette, LA. The Job Fair is open to the public and job-seekers should bring copies of their resume with them.
Employers in attendance will include: St. Bernard Port, Harbor and Terminal District, Trinity Neurologic Rehab Center; Audubon Nature Institute; Boasso America Corporation; Cajun Industries, LLC; Operating Engineers Local 406; Arc of Greater New Orleans; Harrah’s New Orleans; East Jefferson General Hospital; Lofton Staffing; Upper Iowa University; Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts; Royal Sonesta Hotels; Marriott of New Orleans; General Heating and Air Conditioning; Volunteers of America-Greater New Orleans; Mauti Meredith Sciggin Properties; Plaquemines/St. Bernard Business and Career Solutions; Domino Sugar; Avon (Beth DiMarco-ISR); and House of Blues.
Nunez Community College offers 25 programs in academic and technical fields as well as workforce development programs.
