NATCHITOCHES, LA (AP) — Northwestern State University and Delgado Community College in New Orleans are partnering in a new nursing program.
The schools on Friday, at a ceremony in Alexandria, will sign a memorandum of understanding for a 2 + 2 program that will allow Delgado students who are pursuing an Associate of Science in nursing degree to complete the first two years of study there and transfer all credit hours to Northwestern State toward completion of a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.
Administrators say the partnership is mutually beneficial for each school.
