Northshore Fall Fest Job Fair Takes Place Oct. 3

NEW ORLEANS — Tri-Parish Works, in partnership with St. Tammany Recreation District #1 and Northshore Technical Community College, will host the 2019 Northshore Fall Fest Job Fair on Thursday, Oct. 3, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. As the largest job fair in the region, the event promises to connect employers and job seekers in the region’s largest annual job fairs. Details were shared in a press release.

Tri-Parish Works hosts two annual job fairs for the region, drawing nearly 1,800 job seekers each year. The continued growth and success now draws 100+ employers and expands opportunities for businesses to find great talent. Employers, like Bollinger, who attended the Fall Fest Job Fair in 2018, said they received more resumes and applications from the event than they had from their last 5 events combined. Employers will find candidates from all backgrounds to fill their entry and mid level positions, as well as their specialty positions at this event.

This year, the event welcomes its newest partner, Northshore Technical Community College. Their partnership brings additional support to keep this as a free event for the community and by drawing excellent new talent that have been attaining some of the most sought-after skills and industry-based certifications.
