MANDEVILLE, LA – Northlake Behavioral Health, a full service acute care psychiatric hospital for adolescents and adults; as well as a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility for adolescents, announced Anthony “Tony” Cimino has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Community Liaison. Cimino will report directly to CEO Marty Dean.
"Tony brings extraordinary business expertise and marketing leadership to Northlake,” said Dean, with more than 20 years of executive level experience in top health care organizations in several major markets.
Before joining Northlake, Cimino headed up sales and marketing for health plans in partnership with some of the most prestigious hospitals and physicians in New York, Virginia, Georgia and Louisiana.
In his new role, Cimino will provide strategic direction for marketing and public relations, admissions as well as community outreach to providers, referral sources and the mental health community. "He is well recognized for developing strategies that have accelerated the growth of some the country’s most successful managed health care plans such as United Healthcare of Louisiana and Cigna HealthCare of Georgia,” Dean said. “Tony's insight and industry knowledge will help us elevate the Northlake Behavioral Health brand, stimulate increased awareness and ensure a focused approach to our marketing and public relations. We are delighted to welcome his inspiration and leadership."
Cimino, a native New Orleanian and graduate of Loyola University of New Orleans, began his career in managed health care in Louisiana in the mid-80s and has seen the many transitions and changes in health care in the ensuing years.
