NEW ORLEANS – More than 1,000 tire and retread professionals are expected to gather at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Halls C-D, for the 2017 North American Tire & Retread Expo, Wednesday, April 19 – Friday, April 21.
Registration is free for all tire and retread industry members, including tire dealers, wholesalers and distributors.
The president of Truck, Bus & Retread for Bridgestone North America, Joseph Saoud, will deliver the opening keynote and inform attendees on ways to reinvigorate the sustainable business model.
Honoring the tire industry’s commitment to recycling and the environment, the expo will also present the Miss Retread Truck Tire Contest. Participants who enter a tire have the chance to win $2,500 in separate contests for pre-cured and mold-cured tires.
The North American Tire & Retread Expo last met in New Orleans in 2016. This year’s expo is projected to have an economic impact of nearly $6 million.
