NORDC To Host Job Fair At Rosa F. Keller Library With NOPD, NOFD, RTA

NEW ORLEANS—The New Orleans Recreation Development Commission (NORDC) is inviting residents to attend a job fair on Friday, July 17, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Rosa F. Keller Library, 4300 S. Broad St.

         NORDC is recruiting staff for the new Rosenwald Center at 1120 S. Broad St., which is currently under construction. In addition, NORDC has openings for laborers and a senior maintenance worker at Joe W. Brown Park, as well as an electrician, certified pool maintenance technician, aquatics director and athletics site supervisors.

         Representatives from the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD), Sewerage & Water Board, Regional Transit Authority (RTA) and JOB1 Career and Business Solutions will also be on site with information on job opportunities within their departments.
