NEW ORLEANS – On Saturday, August 20, 2016, the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission (NORDC) will host the 2016 NOLA Kicks Exchange in collaboration with Red Bull and Uber. People attending the event at Joe W. Brown Memorial Park’s Recreation Center, 5601 Read Blvd., from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., will have the opportunity to buy, sell or trade sneakers from their own collections. Local vendors will also have booths to showcase their latest sneaker collections.
The public can expect some of the top sneaker collectors, influencers and customizers to participate in this weekend’s event. Additionally, Redbull and their Wings Team will provide DJ entertainment and refreshments. NORDC is also teaming up with Uber to offer a first free ride for new Uber users with the promo code NOLASNEAKER.
The event is open for all ages, and tickets can be purchased here for $10 per person.
