NOPD Superintendent Harrison Kicks Off New Orleans Job Corps Center’s Youth 2 Youth: Partners 4 Peace Rally

NEW ORLEANS—Today, NOPD Superintendent Michael Harrison will kick off the New Orleans Job Corps Center’s Youth 2 Youth: Partners 4 Peace Rally at the Rosenwald Recreation Center, located at 1120 South Broad St., at 10:00 a.m.

         In 2015, New Orleans Job Corps launched Youth 2 Youth (Y2Y): Partners 4 Peace, a student-led initiative where students come together with law enforcement to learn how they can help develop crime fighting strategies in our community. This year’s event will feature a roundtable discussion involving Job Corps students, local high school students, law enforcement and community partners including, NOLA for Life, Silence is Violence, Ceasefire New Orleans, Stop the Killing and Crimestoppers GNO.

         Chief Harrison will provide opening remarks at the event.
