NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors, an association with over 7,900 members throughout the 10-parish region, has installed a new executive management team: CEO Alice Clark, Chief Operating Officer Bailey D. Morse and Chief People Officer Brianne Byrley.
Clark has served as interim CEO since May and brings two decades of real estate management experience to the position. Hailing from Ruston, Louisiana, she began her career in real estate as an office manager and trainer for a Ruston-based broker. Following that, she worked as the MLS director and then the association executive at Northeast Realtors of Louisiana in Monroe, Louisiana. She holds leadership certifications from the National Association of Realtors, including the Commitment to Excellence endorsement and the Realtor Association Certified Executive designation.
“Alice’s extensive management acumen coupled with her thorough understanding of the industry, from multiple angles, is truly remarkable,” said Liz Tardo, NOMAR president and broker/owner. “This is a pivotal time for our industry and our association. We’re spearheading an expansion–from more member benefits and opportunities to get involved to greater advocacy at the local level—and Alice is the right person to execute our vision.”
“NOMAR is a dynamic organization dedicated to championing and empowering the profession that makes the dream of homeownership a reality across the region,” said Clark. “I’m excited and honored by the opportunity to lead staff, as we grow and thrive together with our members.”
Morse has served as the outside general counsel for the association’s governing boards since 2017 and brings more than 15 years of private practice experience to the role. Prior to joining NOMAR, she was a partner in the firm of Jones Fussell in Covington and is a graduate of LSU and the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. A Northshore native, she makes her home in Mandeville.
According to Craig Mirambell, the association’s president-elect and broker/owner, Morse’s appointment signals a strategic move from leadership to expand key NOMAR offerings while building on a rich history of innovation.
“By bringing legal services in-house and appointing a steward to oversee operations, we are elevating the profession and taking our organization to the next level,” he said.
Morse will collaborate closely with executive management and the board of directors to help guide the association’s evolution and strategic initiatives.
“No matter where we come from, we are stronger together. My aim is to build bridges that connect the communities we serve and strengthen our partnerships across the industry,” she said.
With over 11 years of human resources experience, Byrley brings expertise in talent acquisition and HR management from both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors.
Reflecting on the appointment, Byrley remarked, “One thing I find most impressive about NOMAR is the scope of the resources our association provides to both members and staff. It’s inspiring.”
