Palmisano Officially Announces Nashville Expansion

49708703 1153094594854770 7013153360635232256 NNASHVILLE (press release) – Palmisano, the Southeast’s newest leader in commercial construction, has opened an office in Nashville. The firm exists to “build a better world,” focused on creating a positive experience and impact for all stakeholders and within the communities where they work.

“We are here to Build a Better World,” said Wesley Palmisano, Founder and CEO of Palmisano. “We are proud of our work and the positive impact it has on the community, but our goal is to make contributions that extend well beyond the buildings and infrastructure we help create.  We want to be a force for social innovation.”  Through Palmisano’s non-profit division, The Palmisano Foundation, and through other channels, the firm has served the New Orleans community by creating high-value education and career opportunities for its youth, often partnering with organizations such as Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans, Youth Rebuilding New Orleans, and PlayBuild NOLA.

Palmisano, who also dubs himself Floor Sweeper, a nod to the firm’s values of humility and hard work, also added, “There are strong cultural and historical parallels between Nashville and New Orleans.  Both cities trace their roots to trading networks and French settlements in the late 1600’s.  Both cities grew into major commercial centers in the 19th and 20thcenturies.  The two cities have faced and overcome challenges and adversity.  Today, both have business cultures driven by entrepreneurs, as well as unique and vibrant music, arts, food, and family cultures that bring people together and make great things happen.”

The Nashville office, which is located at 315 Madison Street in the Germantown neighborhood, is headed by Craig Floyd, Regional Growth Leader for Palmisano. With 23 years of experience in construction, he is a graduate of Virginia Tech’s Building Construction Program. He is also an active member of Young President’s Organization.

Mr. Floyd, who has also recently joined the Board of Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee, states “The Palmisano team is thrilled to plant a flag in Nashville.  While it is not lost on anyone that Nashville is a thriving business community, much of what drove our decision to expand into Nashville was cultural alignment and where we believed we could have the greatest positive impact. We look forward to rolling up our sleeves and getting to work.”

He continues, “As we build our team in Nashville, we’re confident construction professionals seeking exciting career opportunities and the opportunity to make a greater impact will be drawn to our culture, team-of-teams philosophy, and true builder focus.”
