NEW ORLEANS – NOLA Terminal has hired Anthony Barrois to serve as terminal manager for its operations facility on the Mississippi River.
Barrois has 33 years of experience in import/export terminal operations and full-service barge fleeting. He began his career working as an operator, dock foreman and traffic dispatcher for Untied Bulk Terminals in Davant, Louisiana. Over the next two decades, Barrois advanced to operations supervisor and then operations superintendent for United Bulk. From 2019 to 2020, he served as the operations manager for United Bulk and Host Terminals and then went on to work as a terminal manager for Continental Cement and a terminal manager/facility security officer for Cooper Consolidated.
“Anthony’s industry knowledge — coupled with his extensive managerial experience and aptitude for cultivating strong customer relationships — makes him a well-respected figure in the logistics industry,” said NOLA Terminal Chief Executive Officer Brian Miles. “His leadership and operational expertise have made him a valuable addition to the NOLA Terminal team.”
Founded in 2013, NOLA Terminal is a 152-acre multi-purpose terminal located at Mile Marker 59 along the lower Mississippi River in Plaquemines Parish. The company is developing a multi-purpose ship and barge dock system with options for dry bulk handling, covered storage and liquid storage.
