NEW ORLEANS – On Nov. 24, NOLA MADE is keeping Black Friday shopping local with a holiday shopping experience at the Ace Hotel New Orleans.
The event, beginning at 1 p.m., will feature a marketplace filled with New Orleans crafted items and New Orleans-born brands on display for holiday shoppers. In addition to the shopping, NOLA MADE will also host a career fair for those looking to work with a local company.
"Local young professionals, people returning home for the holidays, and everyone they know and love are invited to this free event to celebrate the revitalization of Greater New Orleans while shopping and connecting over cocktails," notes a statement released about the event. "Grab a drink, catch up with old friends, score some unique NOLA MADE holiday gifts, and while you’re at it why not meet your next employer? At NOLA MADE you’ll get one-on-one advice about careers with some of NOLA’s most innovative places to work. This isn’t any old job fair, this is NOLA MADE."
Both the shopping experience and the career fair are available online through Nov. 30 at nolamade.org.
