NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute’s March 2024 cohort will host Bamba, a pop-up restaurant featuring a menu inspired by the cuisine of Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Bamba will be open for lunch Feb. 27 through March 8 at NOCHI’s downtown campus (725 Howard Avenue).
The Bamba menu and dining experience have been designed by NOCHI students as the culmination of their 100-day culinary training and certification program.
“During Bamba, NOCHI students put their hands-on instruction to the test,” said Gerald Duhon, NOCHI executive director. “This eight-day restaurant experience highlights our students’ skills and creativity and provides them the opportunity to interact with guests including potential employers and industry leaders.”
Reservations are open now for this Latin American culinary experience at www.nochi.org/bamba.
All proceeds from the Bamba pop-up dining experience benefit the NOCHI Scholarship Fund. The school offers certificate programs that cover twenty-five subjects.
