NOCHI Cohort Hosts Latin American Pop-Up Restaurant

Bamba NochiNEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute’s March 2024 cohort will host Bamba, a pop-up restaurant featuring a menu inspired by the cuisine of Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Bamba will be open for lunch Feb. 27 through March 8 at NOCHI’s downtown campus (725 Howard Avenue).

The Bamba menu and dining experience have been designed by NOCHI students as the culmination of their 100-day culinary training and certification program.

“During Bamba, NOCHI students put their hands-on instruction to the test,” said Gerald Duhon, NOCHI executive director. “This eight-day restaurant experience highlights our students’ skills and creativity and provides them the opportunity to interact with guests including potential employers and industry leaders.”
