No Louisiana-Based Lottery Drawings On Christmas Day

BATON ROUGE (AP) — The Louisiana Lottery Corp. says there won't be any Louisiana-based drawings on Christmas Day.

         A news release says that will affect Pick 3 and Pick 4.

         Louisiana's lotteries aren't conducted on either Christmas or Easter.

         Lottery offices will be closed Thursday and Friday of both the Christmas and New Year's weekends.

         Tickets for daily Pick 3 and Pick 4 games that are bought after the draw close on Christmas Eve will be good for Friday's drawing. Tickets for advance drawings will skip Dec. 25.
