Next Generation Marine To Christen 2 Vessels At Port Of New Orleans Thursday

NEW ORLEANS – Next Generation Marine will host a christening of two of its newest vessels, M/V Compass Stallion and M/V Compass Dominator, on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the Port of New Orleans, 1350 Port of New Orleans Place, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

         There will also be an announcement of Next Generation Marine's new headquarters in the New Orleans metropolitan area.

         Next Generation Marine is one of two African American owned marine transportation companies in the country to own and operate its fleet of vessels. Chief Executive Officer and Captain Eddie Compass IV has traveled around the world, logging time in Chile, Lima, Ireland, Angola, Trinidad and more.

         Representatives from Next Generation Marine and the Mayor's Office of Economic Development, Port of New Orleans President Garry LaGrange and community and business leaders are scheduled to attend the event.
