New Program The Campbell Society Honors Major Donors To LSU Athletics

BATON ROUGE – Last month, Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) introduced a new program recognizing donors who have made transformational gifts to LSU Athletics.  The program is called The Campbell Society, named after E.R. “Bo” Campbell, the first former LSU Athlete to contribute a considerable major gift to support LSU Athletics and LSU student-athletes.

The Campbell Society inaugural dinner was held on Oct. 13 in the Legends Club at the LSU Basketball Practice Facility.  During the event, TAF President and CEO Rick Perry and Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Joe Alleva presented The Campbell Society inductees with a gold blazer. The blazers were crafted by the local clothing company Haspel with the help of Haspel owner and TAF member, Richard Lipsey.

The Campbell Society members were also recognized on the field of Tiger Stadium during the LSU vs. Auburn game on Oct. 14.
