NEW ORLEANS – Fox & Hound in New Orleans is teaming up with the USMC Toys for Tots of New Orleans to host its first Toy Collect “Fundraiser” for 2015.
Fox & Hound, located in the Elmwood Village Center at 1200 South Clearview Parkway, will host a celebration to benefit USMC Toys for Tots of New Orleans on Thursday, July 30, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and will donate 10% of sales for the entire day and night to the organization.
The mission of the USMC Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is to collect new and unwrapped toys and in return donate those same toys to needy kids in the community at Christmas. The objectives of Toys for Tots is to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas, to play an active role in the development of children, to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign and to contribute to better communities in the future.
"We are thrilled to be partnering with Fox & Hound for this year’s first fundraiser celebration event and are so grateful that they have chosen to support our efforts of collecting new and unwrapped toys for the kids of our community,” said SSGT Sylvester Dollard Lead Coordinator and Ms. Tracey Powell Assistant Coordinator of the New Orleans campaign. “We are looking forward to a fun and festive event. We invite everyone to come and join us on July 30!”
