NEW ORLEANS – According to personal finance website WalletHub, New Orleans is the 52nd most “singles friendly” city in America based on economics, entertainment options and number of available dating partners. To create the list, WalletHub compared 182 locations: the 150 most populated U.S. cities plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state. They considered demographics along with the cost of meals, alcohol, movie tickets, taxis, haircuts, etc. along with the number of restaurants, coffeeshops, nightclubs and attractions.
The top five most singles-friendly cities on the list are Atlanta (grrr), Denver, San Francisco, San Diego and Portland. The very last entry on the list? Pearl City on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. But, hey, at least they can enjoy the view …
