Thursday, Jun. 15 – Annual Congressional Baseball Game, following yesterday's shooting at a Republican practice session that left several wounded, including House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, who was described as critical following surgery after he was shot in the hip, 7:00 p.m. (EST)

         The shooter was identified as James Hodgkinson from Illinois, who died from his injuries. The annual game sees Democrats face Republicans, with funds raised going to charities including The Washington Literacy Center, The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington, and the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation. Series is tied 39-39 (with one tie), after the GOP broke a seven-year Dem winning streak last year. White House has said President Donald Trump would like to have attended, but that there was not enough time to follow U.S. Secret Service protocols to allow him to do so.
