Stops are San Antonio, Galveston, TX, New Orleans, Mobile, AL, and Naples, FL, with the public and media at each location given the opportunity to tour the aircraft and meet the team. Staff from local emergency management offices, Federal Emergency Management Agency, American Red Cross, Federal Alliance for Safe Homes, local NOAA National Weather Service forecast offices, and other organizations also participate at each stop * NOAA has conducted the hurricane awareness tour for over 30 years, alternating between the Gulf and Atlantic coasts.
