New Orleans Estate Planning Council Celebrates 50 Years

NEW ORLEANS – On Monday, May 4, 2015, the New Orleans Estate Planning Council (NOEPC), a member of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, will host its 50th anniversary celebration at Brennan’s, 417 Royal St., from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

         NOEPC will recognize Max Nathan, Jr., Jerry Reso, Larry Emboulas, Tommy Lemann and others who were instrumental in the council’s success.

         NOEPC was established in 1965 and now consists of about 200 active members. NOEPC is an association of estate planning professionals – lawyers, CPAs, life underwriters, bank trust officers, certified financial planners and planned giving professionals.

         The Council provides educational and networking opportunities for professionals involved in the practice of estate planning.

         The 2015 NOEPC board members are: President, Vanessa Brown Claiborne; Vice President, Kathy Turan Davenport; Secretary, Susan J. Burkenstock; Treasurer, Kimberly J. Austin; Immediate Past President, John J. Meyer; Parliamentarian, Laura Walker Plunkett; and Board Member, Lawrence M. Lehmann.

         NOEPC members will be admitted at no charge the event.

         Ticket prices for guests and non-members are $100.
