NEW ORLEANS – Glenn Mueller, majority owner of Domino’s largest domestic franchise, RPM Pizza, was recently awarded Domino’s esteemed Gold Franny Award for operational excellence.
This is the family-owned franchise’s eleventh Gold Franny Award.
RPM Pizza also was recognized for opening six new stores and purchasing 52 stores last year. This brings the total to 191 stores operating in five states with an annual payroll exceeding $35 million and employs 4,000 full-time and part-time workers.
Mueller earned this award as part of an elite group within about 850 franchise owners in the United States. The awards are based on several key factors including operational audit scores, community involvement, store safety and security, Team Member morale and store growth.
The Gold Franny Awards, the most prestigious honor bestowed on a Domino’s franchise owner, were created more than 20 years ago by the International Franchise Association and designed to honor excellence among franchise owners.
“A Gold Franny is one of the highest honors that a franchisee can earn for operational excellence – and there is no other individual who is more deserving to receive this than Mueller,” said Scott Hinshaw, Domino’s executive vice president of franchise operations and development. “He is the best of the best and his leadership, hard work and motivation to grow make him an incredible asset.”
RPM Pizza started 35 years ago and has been the largest franchise in Domino’s for over 30 years. RPM Pizza’s training programs and Pizza College help first time workers gain full-time careers. Further, RPM Pizza holds the record for developing the most franchisees with over 150 new franchise owners. The 191 stores include 100 stores in Louisiana, 33 stores in Mississippi, seven stores in Alabama and 51 stores in Indiana and Michigan.
