NEW ORLEANS – Throughout the slow, steamy months of August and September, New Orleanians can enjoy generous discounts and savings while exploring the city’s cultural attractions and its diverse dining scene. New Orleans & Company, a local marketing agency, will once again host its two annual summer campaigns – Stay & Play and COOLinary New Orleans Restaurant Month. Besides providing a more affordable way for locals to experience the city, both campaigns promote the businesses that make the Big Easy a beloved destination.
Stay & Play (August 1 through September 30), previously known as Be a Tourist in Your Own Hometown, offers more than 60 deals and discounted rates on hotels, attractions, tours, and dining options, among other amenities. The Stay & Play website even includes sample itineraries. For a chance to win a coveted staycation package, followers of the Instagram account, @VisitNewOrleans, should tag #StayAndPlayNOLA on images showcasing their summer staycations and outings around the city.
The 15th annual COOLinary New Orleans Restaurant Month (August 1 through August 31) returns this summer, offering special two- and three-course lunch menus for $20 or less, and three-course dinner and brunch menus for $39 or less, at more than 100 premiere restaurants across the city. A comprehensive list of participating eateries, along with a link to their menus, is listed below.
