NEW ORLEANS — On Dec. 19, the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce announced the 2024 executive committee that will lead the organization into its 20th year of service. Roderic F. Teamer Sr. of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana will serve as chair. Shelina Davis of the Louisiana Public Health Institute will be vice chair. And Todd Matherne of Renaissance Publishing (owner of Biz New Orleans) will become immediate past chair.
Rounding out the executive committee are Treasurer Elizabeth Ellison-Frost (Chalmette Refining – PBF Energy), Secretary Peter Boylan (Ballard Brands) and President and CEO Sandra Lombana Lindquist.
“Our 20th anniversary is an occasion to commemorate our journey and contributions while sharing our vision for a future full of impact,” said Teamer. “For two decades, we have been the catalyst behind countless connections, partnerships and collaborations and we are excited about the years to come.”
The New Orleans Chamber’s more than 12,000 members work together to support business success in the city.
Teamer recently accepted the gavel at the chamber’s 2023 annual meeting on Dec. 8.
To commemorate its 20th year, the chamber will introduce a logo designed by Deep Fried Advertising and will launch a “Businesses Belong Here” campaign.
Six chamber board members were reelected to second terms in 2024. Krista Pouncy-Dyson (Performance First Digital), Valerie M. Grubb (Val Grubb & Associates), Theresa Jones (Evalv IQ), Pamela Meyer, Phala Mire (Women’s Business Enterprise Council South), and Keith Naccari (Sternberg, Naccari & White).
Three new members have also joined the board: Barrett Conrad (Antares Technology), David Piscola (Hilton New Orleans Riverside) and Michael Williamson (United Way of Southeast Louisiana).
