NEW ORLEANS – Join the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce, ABWA Crescent City Connections and FestiGals for the 2017 Equal Pay Day “The Power of YOU: Advocate for Your Success” networking event on Tuesday, April 4, at The Cannery, 3803 Toulouse St., from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
The program will help create awareness of the pay gap between men and women with a:
• Presentation from Louisiana State Representative Helena Moreno
• Power Hour Panel with "Success Experts," where attendees will discuss success tips and gain insight from powerful women in the New Orleans community.
The schedule includes:
5:30 p.m. – Registration
6:00 p.m. – Program
6:30 p.m. – Power Hour with "Success Experts"
The event costs $25 for pre-registered ABWA, FestiGals and NOLA Chamber members, $35 for pre-registered non-members and $40 for walk-in attendees.
Admission includes light bites and one drink ticket for wine or beer.
Parking is complimentary.
Attendees will have the option to take a professional headshot courtesy of Jeff Strout photography for $20.
Attendees are encouraged to wear red to symbolize how women are still "in the red" for pay equality.
