New Orleans franchisee, Southeast Restaurant Group, bought 20 company-owned TGI Friday’s, and will be allowed to build more locations in areas like Baton Rouge and Lake Charles.
Timothy Boone with The Advocate reports Southeast Restaurant Group, which owns three TGI Fridays restaurants in metro New Orleans and Mobile, Alabama, now boast multiple locations stretching from Houston to Nashville, Tennessee.
Boone reports the move gives Southeast, whose parent company is the New Orleans based KFK Group, eight TGI Fridays in Houston, four in metro Nashville, three in Memphis, Tennessee, and one in Jackson, Tennessee, Huntsville, Alabama, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Gulfport and Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
TGI Fridays announced it would be looking for franchisee buyers for most of their owned and operated restaurants, and look forward to providing support to new partners.
