New Orleans Attorney Marshall A. Hevron Named Partner at Adams and Reese

NEW ORLEANS – Adams and Reese New Orleans attorney Marshall A. Hevron was one of seven firm lawyers named partner, effective Jan. 1, 2018. Other attorneys named partner for the new year were, Rocklan “Rocky” William King, III, of Nashville, Evan A. Moeller of Houston, Jamie W. Olinto of Jacksonville, Russell J. Rutherford of Birmingham, Brian K. Smithweck of Mobile and William M. Umbach of Columbia, S.C.

Hevron joined Adams and Reese in 2009 and his practice focuses on real estate litigation. He has litigated numerous expropriation (eminent domain) cases for major utility and pipeline companies. Hevron has also handled a number of cases concerning servitude rights and other property issues under Louisiana law.

He is a member of the firm’s charter school team and assists charter school clients with numerous issues to include corporate governance and compliance with the Louisiana Code of Ethics. He has been recognized among Top 40 Under 40 by Gambit Weekly in 2012, Leadership in Law by New Orleans CityBusiness in 2015 and both New Orleans Top Lawyers by New Orleans Magazine and Louisiana Rising Stars by Super Lawyers® in 2017.

A 2001 graduate of St. John’s College, Hevron completed his J.D. from Tulane University Law School in 2009. He received the President’s Award from the Federal Bar Association New Orleans Chapter in 2013 and was a member of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute (NORLI) Class of 2017.
