McClain has spent her 30-plus-year career in IT, staffing and recruiting. In addition to founding IT recruitment agency Tekchix, she is a member of the Fidelity Bank POWER Advisory Board for Women Entrepreneurs, Southeastern Louisiana University’s Computer Science Advisory Board, the LED CEO Roundtable, Tulane’s SOPA Advisory Board, New Orleans Opera Board and Second Harvest Operations Committee.
