Dr. Couvillon brings more than 28 years of experience in clinical nursing and education to her role as president of Chamberlain University College of Nursing. Prior to joining the university, she served in leadership roles at Ochsner Health and the Louisiana State University Health Science Center School of Nursing. A critical care nurse by training, she began her career as a nurse educator at Georgetown University Hospital. Chamberlain is appointed to the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and the Louisiana State Nurses Association Foundation. She supports accreditation as a commissioner with the National League for Nursing Commission on Collegiate Nursing Accreditation and is the academic-volunteer services coordinator for the American Red Cross.
