New Dean Named for Loyola New Orleans Business College

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The business college at Loyola University New Orleans has a new dean.

The university announced in a Monday news release that Michael L. Capella has accepted the role of dean of the university's Joseph A. Butt, S.J., College of Business.

Capella comes to Loyola from Villanova University's business school. He most recently served there as the associate dean of graduate and executive programs, and professor of marketing.

He officially joins Loyola on June 1.

Capella joined the faculty at Villanova in 2005 after receiving his doctorate from Mississippi State University.
