NEW ORLEANS – Last week’s British Airways’ inaugural flight from New Orleans to London was a success and the airline announced it would increase its frequency of direct flights from four to five departures per week.
On the heels of the milestone, GNO, Inc. announced plans to lead a business mission and international summit in London early this summer called “London Calling.” GNO, Inc. reps said due to the “tremendous response to the inaugural summit,” the organization changed the dates to accommodate “additional key regional leaders to join, enhancing the overall experience for all participants.”
The new dates for the trip are Saturday, June 10 – Wednesday, June 14.
GNO, Inc. reps said they are already approaching capacity and urge interested parties to confirm their interest as soon as possible.

The summit is intended not only to celebrate the new flight, but also to foster a deeper understanding of London and the UK’s post-Brexit economic landscape, while exploring commerce opportunities for stakeholders of south Louisiana, GNO, Inc. reps said. The Louisiana delegation will include approximately 80 key corporate executives, elected officials and top community leaders from a diverse set of industry sectors. While in London, the delegation will hear from local experts, corporate and government entities across a number of sectors including energy, advanced manufacturing, digital/tech and creative and more. Participants will also have the supplemental opportunity to engage in private, targeted business discussions with UK companies interested in mutually beneficial commerce opportunities.
