NEW ORLEANS — Neuropsychologist Heather A. Pedersen, Ph.D., has joined the clinical team at Algiers Neurobehavioral Resource LLC (ANR).
Dr. Pedersen’s practice at ANR includes conducting neuropsychological evaluations on adults who experience or have been diagnosed with conditions that impact brain functions. This includes conditions such as dementia, brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, stroke, and seizure disorders.
Prior to joining ANR, Dr. Pedersen worked in medical centers, inpatient medical and mental health hospitals and mental health clinics. Dr. Pedersen’s research focused on neurological topics, such as sports concussions, behavioral health issues and cognitive testing for individuals with visual impairments. She also taught seminars on multiple sclerosis, dementia screening, and apraxia.
Dr. Heather A. Pedersen obtained her master’s and doctoral degrees in psychology from the University of North Dakota. She is licensed in Louisiana, Minnesota and Arizona. View her full bio at www.algiersneuro.com.
