The Specialty Coffee Association will host the Specialty Coffee Expo Sept. 30 through Oct. 3 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The Expo will host thousands of attendees and features hundreds of exhibitors showcasing their products and services as they compete for awards.

The SCA said it is donating 50% of all attendee revenue to hourly employees and owners of local coffee businesses as they recover from the impacts of Hurricane Ida.

“We at the Specialty Coffee Association are thrilled to bring North America’s largest coffee event to the beautiful city of New Orleans,” said Yannis Apostolopoulos, the group’s CEO, in a press release. “After more than a year apart, specialty coffee buyers and sellers will gather once again at Expo to connect and do business. New Orleans has a long history as a coffee city and a vibrant specialty coffee community today; it was important for us to be able to return and support the local community by donating half of our attendee revenue.”
