Our company is a locally owned and operated company, that supplies roll off dumpsters to residential as well as construction sites, while offering demolition services to rebuild Nola.

Q: How were you inspired to start your business?

I was inspired by a family member that was familiar with the business who shared valuable knowledge with our company on operating in the construction business, whom we show much gratitude for.

Q: What were the biggest obstacles and how were they overcome?

The biggest obstacles we faced were, finding the right employees to be apart of our team whom we can trust to be honest and hardworking with dignity and respect. We overcame those obstacles by not settling for any hiree and being honest and straight forward with all of our interviewing process and trusted our future employees to demonstrate those same qualities.

 

Q: What local resources have you used?

The local resources we used were the DBE system and the LSDBE, along with vendors such as sewerage and water board & the regional transit authority.

 

Q: What is your big focus right now?

My big focus right now is to elevate the company to a level of producing generational wealth, while growing spiritually and teaching our children to teach their children about business growth with morals and values.

 

Q: What is the best advice you ever received?

The best advice I received was, with everything you do to always do it with honesty and integrity because your name speaks volumes.

 

Q: What success have you had in the last year?

In the last year I’ve been able to manage Pete’s Disposal LLC, while starting multiple companies in the process, while maintains my sanity as well as my household by the grace of the Lord.

 

Q: What has been the biggest benefit of being a POWER member?

The biggest benefit of being a POWER member is the idea of being given the opportunity to connect with so many other POWER members that can help elevate our business to levels beyond imagination, while being exposed to other vendors as well as residential and commercial customers in the greater New Orleans and surrounding areas with the opportunity of servicing them with all of their demolition and disposal needs.

 

Q: What does POWER mean to you?

POWER to me means; Positioning Opportunities With Everyday Responsibilities. Every opportunity that we are given in this business, we must stay focus and wisely choose to position each opportunity with the everyday responsibilities we face.
