NADA Celebrates 100th Anniversary With $50K Donation To Emeril Lagasse Foundation

NEW ORLEANS – Celebrating its 100th anniversary, the National Automobile Dealers Association will donate $50,000 to the Emeril Lagasse Foundation in support of Cafe Reconcile students.

         The donation takes place Wednesday, Jan. 25, at Emeril’s Delmonico, 1300 St. Charles Ave., at 11:30 a.m.

         The 2017 NADA Convention and Expo, which runs from Thursday, Jan. 26, to Sunday, Jan. 29, at the Morial Convention Center, will be returning to New Orleans for the 12th time since 1973.

         The NADA Foundation has a long history of providing financial support to New Orleans and surrounding communities from hurricane and flood relief efforts, renovating the athletic fields at Lusher Charter School, supporting Second Harvest Food Bank to numerous CPR donations to local organizations.

         NADA, founded in 1917, will celebrate its 100th anniversary in New Orleans. NADA represents more than 16,500 new-car and -truck dealerships, with both domestic and international franchises.
