NABA, Inc. Webinar Tackles Ethics In The Workplace

NEW ORLEANS – Organizations are complex and often stressful. From the corporate world to the nonprofit landscape, organizations are often juggling a tremendous amount of pressure and sometimes policies can get pushed to the side. What would you do if your boss or co-worker asked you to do something unethical in order to be more efficient? How would you handle it? Who would you tell if anyone at all?

The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (NABA, Inc.) is hosting a webinar on Thursday, July 13, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., that will explore these questions and the science behind ethical decision-making and the importance of following your gut when stressful decisions.

The session speaker is Dr. Kelly Richmond Pope, associate professor of accounting at DePaul University and founder of Helios Digital Learning, Inc. Dr. Pope will pull from her fraud research and experiences interviewing white-collar offenders, whistle-blowers and victims of fraud to offer this interactive webinar.
