NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Hospitality and Culinary Institute, a nonprofit culinary school, will be offering a series of online “Cooking in Quarantine” classes for the at-home chef at 5 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday.
From their press release: “Now more than ever, food isn’t just sustenance—it’s a source of comfort and community. That’s why NOCHI is going LIVE for office-hours-meets-supper-club hosted by the NOCHI chefs. They are ready to help, whether you want to spark inspiration from your quarantine pantry, plan healthful and flavorful meals, put your kids to work in the kitchen, or just master that technique you always meant to learn. Come and go or stick around to cook and connect with your Internet neighbors. You can join from anywhere in the world!”
The virtual classes are being offered on a pay-what-you-can basis.
