NEW ORLEANS – Mullin Landscape Associates announced the addition of Thomas Gaffney as their new Maintenance Operations Manager.
With more than 20 years of landscape/ horticulture experience, Gaffney’s talents compliment the needs of the fast growing landscape firm, Mullin reps said. After earning a Bachelor of Horticulture from Southeastern University, Gaffney put his knowledge of horticulture and inherent business acumen to good use by building a non-profit company from the ground up. In his most recent role, Gaffney was directly responsible for upwards of $5 million in annual maintenance contracts.
A native New Orleanian, Gaffney currently resides in Harahan, LA, with his wife and three children. “I am eager to work with the Mullin Landscape Associates because of their positive attitude and desire to grow to be the best landscape company in the Gulf South,” said Gaffney. “I am happy to work in my hometown where the flavor and culture of the community are expressed and appreciated through the art of landscaping.”

In his new role, Gaffney will be responsible for overall Maintenance Operations as well as managerial and client relations responsibilities within the company. Gaffney said, “As the maintenance operations manager with Mullin Landscape Associates, my twenty 20 years of commercial property maintenance experience will foster my success when managing large scale commercial properties. My goal is to use sustainable practices in maintenance programs so that we will not have a negative impact on our environment. My vision is to create meaningful jobs for our local community.”
