What is your go-to coffee shop and your usual order?
PJ’s Coffee for sure. Black coffee in the morning or Iced Late in the afternoon.
What are you watching, reading, or listening to right now?
Great books about MACV SOG (Military Assist Command Vietnam – Studies and Observations Group). Under told stories of bravery, discipline, toughness, and patriotism by America’s Green Beret’s and aviators during the Vietnam War.
What’s the biggest thing you learned from your first job?
Do without being asked and always do more than asked and you will stand out.
What’s your favorite happy place in New Orleans?
Wherever my family is all together.
If you weren’t doing what you do now, what would you be doing?
I can’t even imagine, but it would definitely be something entrepreneurial.
What advice would you give your younger self, or yourself when you first started your business or career?
Never quit, no matter what – no matter how hard or hopeless it seems. Move one step forward every day, control what you can control, and it you will get through anything.

Richards Clearview owns, develops, manages and invest in commercial real estate. The company’s flagship and oldest asset is the Clearview Shopping Center in Metairie, which is currently being repositioned into an open-air, mixed-use, live, work and play destination. Richards is also an attorney and has been practicing law with a focus on real estate transactional work.
