NEW ORLEANS – Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport Director of Aviation Kevin Dolliole became chair of the board for Airports Council International – North America on Jan. 1, 2024. ACI-NA is one of the world’s largest airport trade organizations, representing 270 airport operators in the U.S. and Canada. Its mission is to advocate policies and provide services that strengthen commercial airports’ ability to serve their passengers, customers and communities.
“For more than 75 years, ACI-NA has been a driving force of positive change for our industry, and I am honored to contribute to the organization for the next two years as Chair,” said Dolliole. “I look forward to working alongside our board, policy councils, committees, members, professional staff, coalition partners, and industry stakeholders as we work together to create the next generation of air travel for the benefit of our passengers, customers, and local communities.”

As we look to the future and the immense challenges before us, I know Kevin’s vast industry expertise and political acumen will help us further advance the key airport industry priorities before us.”
As part of his role as chair of ACI-NA, Dolliole will also serve on the executive committee of the Governing Board of Airports Council International World, which represents the collective interests of airports around the world to promote excellence in the aviation industry.
Dolliole will serve as chair of ACI-NA for the next 2 years. Following that, he will serve two years as immediate past chair. Dolliole has been a member of the ACI-NA board of directors since 2020 and previously served as vice chair, chair of the U.S. Policy Committee and chair of the Board Finance Committee.
Dolliole will now have a significant leadership role in the organization as they establish policies around critical issues facing airports today, which is especially important as the aviation industry rebounds from the impacts of COVID-19 and navigates the historic airport infrastructure investments from the federal government. He also currently serves on the American Association of Airport Executives Policy Review Committee—another organization that advocates on behalf of airports at the federal level.
Dolliole has more than 40 years of combined experience in the airline and airport industries. He served as director of airports at St. Louis Lambert International Airport and aviation director at San Antonio International Airport, and previously served in several executive positions at the New Orleans Airport, including acting director of aviation before returning as director of aviation in 2017.
Under his leadership, MSY was ranked as the number one large airport in North America for customer satisfaction based on J.D. Power’s 2021 North America Airport Satisfaction Study and Best Large Airport in North America by ACI World’s Airport Service Quality program two years in a row in 2021 and 2022. Dolliole was also selected as Airport Experience News’ 2020 Director of the Year in the Medium Airports Category as well as Biz New Orleans Magazine’s 2019 CEO of the Year.
