NEW ORLEANS – Looking for the best drinks the city has to offer? Are you a cocktail enthusiast seeking the latest in liquid innovation? Plan now to attend "State of the Art," The Museum of the American Cocktail's biggest annual cocktail celebration and fundraising event on Monday, July 18, 2016, at the Museum of The American Cocktail (MOTAC), inside SoFAB, 1504 Oretha C. Haley Blvd., from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The festive evening will include a presentation by amaro expert and salt superstar Mark Bitterman, custom cocktails by Adam Seger, and the New Orleans premiere of "BarTales New York," a new single-city documentary series featuring Dale DeGroff and Gaz Regan.
Featuring 12 bartenders from across the region, "State of the Art" offers the connoisseur both classic cocktails and innovative drinks from local masters mixing and twisting the cocktail canon.
Admission includes drinks and hors d'oeuvres.
Advance tickets are priced at $35 for SoFAB-MOTAC members and all Tales of the Cocktail registrants and $40 for non-members.
Tickets will be available at the door for $45 for members and $50 for non-members.
