Morrow Hired As New Newcomb Art Museum Curator

NEW ORLEANS – Nationally respected curator William Morrow has joined the Newcomb Art Museum staff as Curator and Coordinator of Academic Programming.

         He was most recently Associate Curator of Contemporary Art at the Denver Art Museum where his exhibitions included Araya Rasdjarmrearnsook: Recent Video Works (2013) and Nick Cave: Sojourn (2013), among others. Prior to the DAM he served as Founding Director of 21c Museum, Louisville, KY, where he curated Cuba Now (2011), Creating Identity: Portraits Today (2009), and Photo/Synthesis: James Baker Hall (2008).

         William received an MA in English Literature and Art History from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, and an MA in Museology from the School of World Art and Museum Studies at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, England.
