More State Cars, Trucks Up For Sale To Help Fill Budget Gaps

BATON ROUGE (AP) — More under-utilized state vehicles are going on the auction block this weekend.

The Louisiana Property Assistance Agency will sell 83 state vehicles Saturday as the state looks for ways to generate money amid continued budget problems.

Gov. Bobby Jindal's administration says the sale of 214 used state vehicles last month generated $751,700 for the state.
