MARRERO, LA – Moonlight & Martinis… Making a Difference promises to be an exciting fundraiser benefiting the Cancer Center at West Jefferson Medical Center on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at the West Jefferson Medical Center, 1121 Medical Center Blvd., in Marrero, LA. The event will be held Under the Oak Trees, behind the WJ Fitness Center.
The Patron Party begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Gala from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Those attending the Patron Party will have the opportunity to meet TLC’s The Little Couple’s Dr. Jennifer Arnold.
While Dr. Arnold is just 3’2” tall, she towers in her ability to handle life’s challenges. Her journeys, becoming a mother through adoption and her battle with choriocarcinoma, a rare form of cancer, have been well-documented on the popular TLC show.
Dr. Arnold will deliver an inspiring message for cancer survivors, their families and caregivers at the event.
At the patron party, there will be music by Ronnie Kole and the Charmaine Neville Band will perform at the Gala.
Award-winning journalist Norman Robinson will serve as guest live-auctioneer offering trips and exciting items at the event’s Live Auction, and there will be food by Culinary Champions, a martini bar and much more.
Proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships will benefit patients at the Cancer Center at West Jefferson Medical Center, which has the only radiation therapy available on the Westbank and offers world-class cancer care in a comfortable, family-oriented environment.
