Monster Moto Moves Headquarters, Plant From China To Ruston, LA

RUSTON, LA (AP) — Monster Moto, a motorcycle company that manufactures mini bikes and go-karts for children and teenagers, will move its headquarters and production facility to Ruston and create almost 300 jobs.

The company, which sold 20,000 units last year, is currently headquartered and produces the vehicles in China.

The News-Star’s Greg Hilburn reports a group of investors led by the Graham family of Lincoln Builders will construct the 100,000-square-foot facility at the former site of the city's municipal airport. Ruston will provide the land and guarantee the lease.
