NEW ORLEANS – After a five-month construction project in Mid-City to extend the Canal Street streetcar and bus line at the intersection of City Park Avenue and Canal Boulevard, the Cemeteries Transit Center has an opening date.
The center will open on Jan. 5 at 10 a.m.
The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) states that safety testing for the new streetcar and bus line extension has been conducted throughout December.
