Metropolitan Community Church Moving To New Location

NEW ORLEANS – Metropolitan Community Church of New Orleans is moving to a new location Sunday, Dec. 4.

After three years of worship and ministry at a location on St. Charles Avenue in Uptown, the congregation is moving to 5401 S. Claiborne Ave., where the church will share space with First Presbyterian Church of New Orleans.

"This move will allow us greater space for growth and outreach, and new opportunities for partnership with our host congregation," said Rev. Alisan Rowland, pastor of MCC New Orleans. "Our worship time will remain at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays, which won't conflict with the schedule of our host church, and our use of the upstairs worship and meeting space will give us great flexibility in our programs."
