Metairie Bank Announces LeBlanc As New SVP, CFO

METAIRIE, LA – Metairie Bank recently announced John P. LeBlanc is Metairie Bank’s new Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and will be responsible for all financial operations and activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, investments and interest rate risk management, as well as information technology and investor relations.

         LeBlanc is replacing F. William Haacke, Jr., who is retiring from the bank after 14 years of distinguished service as its Chief Financial Officer, and over 30 years overall in the financial services industry.

         Prior to joining the team, LeBlanc served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer for Bank of New Orleans and Louisiana Bancorp, Inc.

         LeBlanc has been active in the Greater New Orleans community, serving as an Executive Board member of the Jefferson Parish Chamber of Commerce and on the Executive Leadership Council of the American Cancer Society. He received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of New Orleans.

         LeBlanc resides in Metairie with his wife, Sherie, and their three children: daughter Taylor attending the University of Alabama, oldest son Brady attending Jesuit High School and son Tanner attending Christian Brothers School.
